In House IOSH Managing Safely Courses

Phoenix Health and Safety have been awarded a contract to deliver an in-house IOSH Managing Safely course for the Beacon Centre for the Blind in Wolverhampton.

The centre is already a health and safety consultancy client of Phoenix's, and receive services including:

• Health and safety policy development
• Risk assessment assistance
• Regular health and safety inspections and health and safety audits
• Health and safety telephone/email support
• Health and safety manual
• Employee health and safety handbook

The IOSH Managing Safely course will be delivered on Beacon's premises, specifically for their managers. The benefits of doing the course in this way are multiple:

• Cheaper than sending the individuals on public courses
• The course can be tailored to Beacons requirements - using their forms, their hazards, their procedures etc.
• The course is being split into one day a week, rather than a 4 day block.
